A whole lot of perfect :)

What has happened since my last entry ? So much. Of course the usual work routine as always which is getting better and better as I mentionned last time. But also alote of new and exciting stuff. So I went home for a few days mid-march. I took the plane march 16th and when I landed in Qc at 9pm, I had a ride with friends waiting to head to the Gaspe Coast ! I was sorry I missed out on seeing Sara Ann and precious Ayden but I had th opportunity to NOT take the bus, plus be home earlier so.. Next time hopefully ! When I walked in the door at 3:45AM in Maria, my prince was standing there in boxers waiting for moi  ♥

Of course he was about to go to work but we still managed to lay in bed and chat and cuddle for about 20 minutes. Just that felt SO good. And I knew it was going to be a good weekend. And indeed it was. That day I went for lunch at mam'zelle's with my mom. We then went for a walk. We had a lovely afternoon. Jean-François and I were receiving my brothers and father for supper that night at one of our friend's house (We were keeping his house while he was away) so I went back to prepare that. As usual, it was a nice evening. Good food, a few drinks, nice chats and alote of laughter. And of course little Edward who was getting alote of attention from uncles, grampie and auntie ! It was a great St-Patricks day  ♥ Friday morning, I got up and called my mom to see what she was up to so she came to get me and we headed over to my brother Dan's to see Edward. Sweet little thing :) He is so cute and very healthy. After, my mom and I went over to her place so I could see her renovations. She's made a excellent job redoing her kitchen. It's beautiful. She actually had a tiny bit of painting left to do so I helped her out while listening to music. When my man finished his work, he came to my moms and we went for supper in New Richmond at the Bayou and then went to see his mama for him to get his hair cut and so I could get my strikes done as I was very due ! We went back to his place, cuddled on the couch and watched a movie.

Saturday, we got up not too late and his brother came over with Allysson :) I hadn't seen her since Xmas so I was pretty amazed at how she had changed. Talks so much and is so so cute ! I was really happy to spend time with them. And of course for lunch, we ate cantine again !! When they left that afternoon, we went to the grocery store to get what we wanted for our dinner we had planed for that night. We had the house to ourselves as his parents were sleeping in a cabin at Pin Rouge. So it was a real therapy to be alone with him, enjoy good food and wine (quite a few glasses actually lol). We decied to call up 2 of our friends to come have a drink with us. I was happy to see them too (Moof and Soucy) and it was a nice fun night. They left around 11h30 so we went to bed. Sunday AM, we had brunch at my mother's with my brothers, Eloise, Edward and Jean-Marc (did I say my mom met someone ? Anyways she did lol so I am very happy, he is really nice). The food was delicous as usual. Our favorite meals at mama's have to be brunch. You wouldn't see or taste anything as good in any restaurant :) When we left there around 2pm, we stopped at grandma Sexton's for an hour so that was nice too :) Sunday night, we had supper with Jf's family. I was leaving monday morning around 5:30 we the same drive I had came with. The timing was perfect cause my flight was at 2:15 so it gave me enough time.

Now the most exciting part of the weekend I havn't mentionned yet was definitely furniture shopping :) And we did well ! We got ourselves washer/dryer, table set and spotted a couch which we decided to get afterwards, so Jf will take care of going to buy it this week. We really really got amazing deals on everything so for all we got, we didn't spend too much. And now all we talk about is how excited we are because papa made us a plan of the extension we will be putting on to the cabin and it is even better than what we expected. We are going to add about 12ft to the side (full lenght from front to back) which we had thought at first.. But we are actually going to do a second floor to that extension. So everything we wanted to add (One room, bigger living room and bigger washroom) will actually get to be bigger. The whole second floor will be our bedroom so the extension down stairs will give us a chance to have an even bigger dinning area, living room and washroom with laundry room. SO happy. Papa told us he had picked up a toilet (lol Yayy we have a toilet) and so now he called me yesterday and told me there was a nice big bathtub at Cormier's (yayy Joyel i'm plugging Jimmy) and granite sinks for the kitchen so he will pick them up for us YAY ! As for our washroom lavabo, we got a good deal on a nice one too which is one like a sort of bowl that sticks out (sort of just stands of the counter). We are so excited and SO aware of the luck we have to have people who know about this kind of stuff surrounding us (Yay for carpenters and a papa who knows his shit bahah) ! The thing is it's a nice cabin that can easily be turned into a beautiful place. And we never thought we would need all of this stuff but it turns out the bathroom pretty much needs to be redone completely because first, it is small, but also because everything in it is pretty much done.. Let's just say the 3 last people living there in last few years were all alone men.. Papa said he wouldn't even put the dog in the shower.. Yum. Can't wait to go desinfect the whole place down, fix it up and put our cute furniture in it :) So that's all the excitment that is going on in our lives now ! We cannot wait to get started ! I don't have pictures of everything but I found one of the couch. On the picture it's red but ours will actually be black.



I got back here monday afternoon (the 21th) with all that in mind and the fact that this was going to be my last run before I am done working for the Goddards. WOW ! Kennedy and Dylan are having a little phase of not standing each other but besides having to deal with them once in a while, the kids are being awesome. Curtis is just unbelievable and life is very good for him right now. So hopefully it stays that way until I leave and as long as possible ! I say it's my las run but I am actually going to make a quick trip to Rimouski for my prom saturday april 30th. And then come back for one last week. I know I should end it there because I will basically be volontering my last week with the cost of the tickets in that week.. But I had told Nicole I would finish no later than may 6th.. And no sooner. So I don't want to dissapoint her. She knows.. And she said if she can find someone who could start may 1st, that she would definetly let me go. But I didn't want to ask.. So for now, I will be finishing may 6th. But I still say it's my last run cause I will only have one week left when I come back from Rimouski that Sunday may 1st !

WANNA TALK ABOUT THE JUNOS ? HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHI !!!!

OMMAGAD ! OMG. OH MY GOD & OH MY GOT (wink wink Joyel). This past friday night (march 25th) Nicole, the kids and I were about to sit down to watch a movie when she brought it up... This is how it all went down.. A magical offer in the life of the person she couldn't of guessed would be so thrilled = MOI ! (Actually she knew lol)

"Hey Lyne... Do you have like... Like a dress up outfit or something ?

Like something... Like not fancy but.. a little... You know.. To dress up?"

"Emmm.. Ya I guess so. Not fancy fancy but... Cute I guess haha. Why?"

(I thought she had pub night with a fancy theme or something or at best, a fun job event..)

"Well my boss gave me two tickets..."

"Oh."

"...to the Juno Gala..."

"my."

"...dinner party and awards night tomorrow night."

"god."

"Hahaha. I thought so ! Yay, we are going to the Junos!!!"

When she said tickets... That was it !! I knew it. I knew what she was going to say and I wanted to cry ! I asked what she was going to wear and after showing me I thought what I had in my room was just fine. She wasn't going to over do it and was wearing a simple but beautiful dress. Which is what I had. A grey sleeveless dress. I just needed shoes (KNEW I should of kept some stuff up here when I took almost everything down home) and something to wear over it. I didn't really want to buy shoes again (yeah right..) but I wasn't going to wear my white and purple adidas kicks to go there haha. And then again I thought of it a little more... I'm fucking going to the Junos.. Lets get a whole new oufit :)

Saturday I went shopping and actually had a bit of trouble. I saw and tried out alote of cute dresses but they just weren't doing it. I liked them.. But either it was too much.. or not enough. I finally went in to Le Chateau (which I never go to) and probably tried on 20 dresses. A few were nice but once again.. Not sure of myself ! The guy helping me (or then again was he a girl, i'm not sure) was REALLY good and nice about everything. I spotted a pair of heels I liked and told him "I'm taking those for sure.. Let's work something around those". I think at first he was kind of hoping for me to go for one of those sparkly prom gowns but I told him the people I was going with were going for simple.. And that anyways it wasn't really me. Plus I mentionned my budget (which wasn't big at all) so we started looking at a different style. After about an hour in the store, this is what I walked out with : 

 A caramel t-shirt dress, a black button up long cardigan

and a wide cognac belt. With the said shoes

(or ankle boots whatever you call them) 

My night was UNFORGETTABLE ! And crazy lol. I laughed, I cried, I spent an hour with the band Karkwa, I saw amazing performances, I chatted with Kevin Parent who was VERY surprised to se me there lol, I went out to The Rolling Stone's favorite bar to play in in TO (The horseshoe), I threw up (Migraine, not alcohol)... Actually the wine or champagne may have caused it as it sometime does depending on the kind of wines... But anyways.. Happens to me sometimes and I can deal with it. Thank god I only started to feel the headache when the Junos were over ! So ya.. When I came back from the washrooms at horseshoe, Nicole's friends were gone out for a bite.. So she said let's just go home cause you're not feeling well ! I kind of felt bad but she reassured me when she said she wanted to go anyways. Then I drank a coke (Makes me burp and always help with the headaches). I walked, I had pain from the stupid heels, I froze waiting for the train,I took the train back (we had came with a cab which had cost us 70 bucks so we figured the train would be perfect and much less expensive), I froze again waiting for a stupid cab, almost got our cab stollen so decided to share (and too nice that we are, we had that cab drop us off at the nearest intersection instead of having him dropping us off home) so we walked again, swore, froze again and EFFIN LAUGHED ! Sounds painful (which it was) but by then, the fresh (or should I say freezing) air had helped my head and I was feeling much better. Plus, we were lamenting so much that it was just making us laugh ! Nicole was a little tipsy and was hillarious...

"Why the FUCK did I tell him to do that.. What was my idea.. I'm too fucking nice...

OH MY GOOOOOD, my house is so FUCKING far !!!"

(Which isn't but we were so cold and fed up, our feet were numb and the house seemed so far lol)..

Anyways we had a good laugh. It reminded me of some funny times with Sara Ann. It was a fun night with Nicole. We bonded in a different way and she was happy I enjoyed it. The award ceremony was amazingly good. I saw Neil Young and many artists I appreciated it. Plus, I discovered new ones. They honoured Deane Cameron for his excellent work and dedication to canadian and world wide music.. He did a 20 minutes speech and the whole room was just completely silent.. Completely captivated and touched by what he said. If you don't know him, google him. He is amazing. He too made me cry ! So ya... Lovely evening ! I regret not taking more pictures and videos but I had no room on my memory stick so I couldn't really. But in my mind, it's still all there and will never die. Music facinate me and makes me so happy.. Nicole couldn't of picked better. At first when she offered, I asked if she didn't want a friend or her mom to go with her but she said..

"No, I told my mom I didn't want her to come ha!ha!.. She just wouldn't appreciate it enough.

She doesn't want to come anyways. And I have lots of friends that would love to come but just

because it's the junos you know.. I want to bring someone who enjoys and appreciates music.

And I know you do. So no worries, I want YOU to come!"

Do I HAVE to tell you she was right ? :) I will never forget it.

The rest of the weekend was fun. Curtis played his last games and they won silver medal. Dylan had his end of season party last night so we went skating and had dinner with his team mates and parents and coaches. Hockey is now over and we now go on to Lacrosse. Practice tonight and try outs next week ! Brian comes home in the morning. Nicole might fly off to Florida with Kennedy (nothing less) for her Birthday which is april 4th. I hope time flies by quickly now, which I am sure will. Hope all is good with everyone. Gotta go get Kennedy from school, she is having a sleepover with her grandma tonight ;) Cute! A little earlier came a little earlier

Yes indeed, mister Edward Sexton was born this past monday, march 7th 2011. I was off work as Brian was home so I was still in bed when the phone rang and I saw it was my mother calling. I couldn't understand why she was calling me at 7:30 on my day off but I figured something was up. I was so thrilled when she told me my brother and his girlfriend had went in to the hospital around 1AM and she was in labor. She gave me all the details we had at the moment and told me she would call me back whenever she would hear more. So my day pretty much consisted of me standing by the phone. Edward came into this beautiful world of ours at 10:48AM. 2 weeks early ! I talked to my mom about 6 times that day, to my dad twice and to my brother and Eloise too. Everything went well and I now I simply can't wait to go down home and meet the sweetie pie.

It was already planned I was taking the plane this coming wednesday (the 16th) and that I was probably going to sleep in Qc at Sara Ann's and leave thursday to go home if I had a ride. If not I was going to have to take the bus. But it turns out I got a ride down home as soon as I land. I will be getting home to my prince even earlier than planned. Of course, I miss out on sending the night with Sara Ann but.. I am happy I don't have to take the bus. And I simply can't wait to see everyone down home. The nice thing is I also get a ride with the same people to come back. They just don't know yet if they will be heading back sunday or monday. But we'll see. SO excited !

My last week was very good. The kids have been behaving the usual way (which means not all the time) lol. But overall, they have been pretty good. The nice thing is when one of them misbehaves, the other two are always really nice and try to help out. Makes it alote easier. Hockey schedules are starting to be less hectic and this weekend is actually the last one for Kennedy and Dylan. Curtis will have a few practices next week and then a last little tournament and he will be done. In april they will have their tryouts for Hockey next season and then Lacrosse Tryouts. Their march break is this coming week but for me, it should be an easy one because I Brian gets home either monday night or tuesday morning and I leave wednesday after supper. Plus, the boys are signed up for Lacrosse Camp & Kennedy for Art Camp. I don't exactly if they spend their whole days there or how it works really. Nicole and I will talk about it and figure it all out sunday night. So Kennedy had a game for her little tournament today at 4. Nicole managed to get her to get a ride with a teammate so they are gone now. And she and Dylan are gone to his last game which is at 3. Curtis is over at a friends house. He had practice this morning and when he came back home, he called this friend and they decided to have a play day. So I will be picking him up around 4 to give Nicole a hand ! Her and Dylan are going to head to Kennedy's game as soon as they run out of his game (Crazy, I know lol) and then come back here I am guessing around 5:30 or 6. I still don't know what she is planning on doing tonight. I always look forward to hanging out with the Jackmans and they often ask us to come over on saturday nights. I love those people. We all get along so good and they are really simple and nice people. There kids and the Goddard's kids get along great and we always have good chats and laughs together. Great stuff. Anyhow. Maybe it will only be a movie night too, which is also fun and fine by me. 

Hope you like the new layout and changes I've made. I  like it better that way and enjoy playing with it so other changes will probably be made at some point when I get fed up or simply feel like changing the looks of it ;) 

P.S.: Did I mention how FRIGGIN excited I am to see my loverboy ! GOD. It isn't has hard as when I came back after Christmas but it has already been a month since I've seen him... Simply can't wait ! Notice how my sentence doesn't make any sense as I said "it has already been".. As if it was SO long but then again I say "already" lol.. Anyhow. It's hard but I guess I have to admit it went by fast. xoxo

A silver medal, a storm & 80 milligrammes...

Dylan's team actually won silver medal !! The last game I updated you on (which we didn't have any expectations on) turned out to be the most exciting game I've watched since I came to Oakville. The team tied Pittsburg 2-2 which meant the played against them in finals on monday afternoon. After the game, a few fathers oganized an afternoon out at a Monster trucks show for them and their boys. The whole team went there so Nicole, Kennedy and I went to the mall for the afternoon. I bought a few pieces of clothes at H&M and Banana Republic. And then I also found my Jewelry for prom at Macy's !

That night, we decided to go out for dinner at Bahama Breeze. It was really good ! I had chicken/mushroom&asparagus pasta and it was DELISH ! I didn't know that restaurant but Nicole had already eaten there in Florida and said it was quite good. A nice family restaurant. We didn't stay up late saturday nor sunday. We were pretty tired with our busy days ! Monday morning was a quiet one because the boys didn't play until 3pm. I got up around 8, went down to the pub and ordered myself a breakfast sandwich and a starbucks and went back up to my room to enjoy it while having a chat with my boyfriend. Around 12, we went out to have dinner and we went to IHOP (Internationnal Home Of Pancakes). Some of us hadn't had breakfast and the kids really wanted to go there so we did ! It was alright ! I had a ham and spinach crepes which was quite tasty. Around 1, we headed to the arena so Dylan could get ready. The game was good but not as fun as the day before. They lost but still got silver :) And they were happy considering they weren't expecting it. It had started to storm a bit outside since we had came in so as soon as Dylan was off the ice and ready to go, we took the road to head to our famous NHL Penguins game ! Nicole, Brian and I couldn't believe how BAD the whole situation was...  Snow + Hills + Pittsburgh Drivers = 1:30 hour drive instead of 12 minutes. As we sat down in our benches at the Consol Energy Center, the game had started about 35 seconds ago. 2 Other families from D's team only made it for second and third periods.. :( Sad ! So we were very lucky ! The game was amazing ! 7th row behind the Goal tender and a perfect view of the whole place ! It was really impressive to see them skating and handeling the puck so well. The kids (and us) were amazed ! The game ended 1-0 for the Capitals. It was really fun to watch.

After the game, we snuck our way back into the rink section and went down to the players entrances to see if we could get to see some of them. Curtis was really hoping to see Alexander Ovechkin.. He actually saw him walking in his towel coming outta the shower lol.. But sadly, he didn't come out to see fans. He was pretty dissapointed. But his mom and dad said "That only means we will have to come see another game someday" :) As for Dylan and I, we got an autograph from the pretty talented (And pretty pretty) Jordan Staal from the Penguins. He came out as we were waiting with Curtis so we ran to the other entrance and had him sign D's Jersey and my ticket. Brian took a few pictures while he was signing D's but we didn't want to bother asking him to take pictures (even if we should've!). We kind of regretted it but anyways ! We were happy ! The drive to the hotel was just as bad as the one coming... Same time to finally make it. We came out of the arena at 11 and made it to the hotel around 1:30 AM. So that sucked !! But lets just say we slept well !! Tuesday morning, we left around 9AM and ate granola bars, fruits and whatever snacks we had for breakfast. We stopped for lunch at Arby's and finally made it home around 3pm. It was an awesome weekend and everyone was happy with it ! As for myself, I will never forget ! Especially with the amazing start I had to it, learning about my math test and finding my dress :)

Brian flew back to work that night and wednesday, we were back into the routine again. And it went great. I think it helped that over the weekend, the kids and I's relationship grew even stronger. It was nice :) Thursday was K's swim class and the friday she had school so I went shopping for my shoes and Clutch !! And I found them ! After debating it with Sara Ann, we both thouht it would be best to go with black ! So I finally did. I found my shoes at Nine West and my Clutch at Aldo's.

This weekend, I didn't do much, Nicole's mom was over for the weekend because hockey schedule was hectic but I stayed home during the day ! Saturday around 4, we went slidding with the Jackman's and had alote of fun ! We then went over to their place for dinner and came back here around 8:30. Was a nice evening :) And sunday I took it easy and watched a few shows.

Monday was a WEIRD day. I got up around 7:15 as usual and the kids were all already up. Nicole had planned on working home for the day so she was still in her Pj's and went to the computer when I came up. As usual, I offered the kids something to eat as well as Curtis' medication. But something went wrong when he said "Oupss, I forgot to tell you, mama already gave it to me"... OH MY GOD !

Needless to say Nicole and I both had a little panic attack before even thinking ! That was 80mg instead of 40. Anyways we kept him home from school because we knew he wouldn't be ok to go to school. Either he wouldn't feel good or he'd be a complete vegetable. Turns out he spent all day doing ONE thing. He built this racing track for marbles that he received last year on his birthday. He took it out at 9AM and stopped playing with it at 3PM. Nicole and I were kind of laughing because after calling health services, they reasured us and told us to simply keep an eye on him and not let him do anything too stimulating like video games or something because he could become violent or have halluscinations ! But he was just wayyyyy too concentrated. It took him about an hour to eat one grilled cheese for lunch ! Nicole would come over at times and say "He's freaking me out" lol. Anyways... Even if it was weird, it went well !!

Brian came home yesterday which mean tomorrow is my last day of work until next tuesday :) Don't know what i'll be doing yet but i'll see ! I also booked my flights to go down home for 5 days this month. I will be taking a plane with Porter wednesday march 16th at night and will try to find a ride from Qc to home so I don't have to take the bus. And then i'll tae my flight to come back monday the 21th :) And then only a little over a month to go ! Yayyy !! I'll probably come back down though because my brother's girlfriend is expecting little Edward march 21th ! So i'll have to go see him ! Plus my prom April 30th :) Who knows, maybe she'll even have him a little earlier while i'm down in march :)
